We're so excited to be a part of TrueBlueAction.com! This new tool, developed by Glen Maxey & crew, will help to turn Texas blue once again, but only with your help!

Every time you've got even 10 minutes, sit down at your computer, log on, and make calls for me (or other candidates of your choice.)

If you made calls for No Nonsense November, you're already registered (if you forgot your password, they'll send it to you from that site.) If you've not registered before, it is easy to do so. This link takes you right to the sign-in site. Then click and pick what calls you want to make. Once you've made the calls, no one else will be able to call that person on this part of the campaign, so they won't be getting 10 calls from us, which would only annoy them.

Here are some of the things you can do with this site, which is a huge list of tools:

• OnlinePhoneBanking (this is up and running now!)
  The TrueBlueAction OnlinePhoneBank, a unique and exciting organizing tool, is up and running as part of the 2006 Democratic Census. Now you can phonebank with clean lists from anywhere you want! All you need is a computer with internet access and a phone.
• Voter Lookup
  Determine if a person is listed on the Texas voter rolls, and if so in which congressional, state-senate, and state-representative districts. (Voter registrations in the last few months may not yet have been incorporated.)
• Vote by Mail
  Texas permits people who are over 65, away from home, or disabled to vote by mail. This dynamic web form ensures that your application is complete and is consistent with the state voter rolls. (You can print applications for other voters, but they must be the ones who sign the application and handle the ballot when it comes.) Applications cannot be submitted until September 8th.
• Build a Blockwalk List with Voter History
  Encourage voter registration in your neighborhood with voter lists organized by street, precinct, or zip code. COMING SOON:  You can also submit corrections or updates to our data.
• New Voter Network -- A Voter Registration Information Collection Tool
  This handy tool has been created so that you can capture the data from the new voter registrations you are doing. Then you can (or we can) connect to these new voters as elections roll around. GOAL: Collect data so that these new voters get communication about when and where to vote early and on Election Day and to enable district level candidates to communicate with them.

• Walk list generator of seniors for mail ballot solicitations. ID those who need to vote by mail and keep your list online at your TrueBlueAction.com personal page. We'll email you your list on September 7th so you can print out the applications and collect the signatures and help get them in the mail!
• My Favorite Voters A way to make a list of all your family, friends and others and get an email each day of early voting letting you know if they have voted yet! A great way to remind your friends to vote! ! (Available only in those counties with electronic access to early voters).
• Have They Voted Yet? A tool to look up voters during early voting to see if they have voted yet! (Available only in those counties with electronic access to early voters).
• OnlinePhoneBanking: Identifying voters in opposition to the Trans Texas Corridor!
• OnlinePhoneBanking: Identifying women voters in support of a woman's right to choose and reproductive freedom!
• OnlinePhoneBanking: Identifying voters in support of stem cell research!
• OnlinePhoneBanking: Identifying seniors in GOTV precincts or with Democratic voting history for ID'ing those who need a vote by mail application!
• Tool to create your own list of volunteers, make notes, and email info within your precinct, city, or any other entity!
• OCTOBER 24th: Statewide Online Phone Bank to GET OUT THE VOTE. We're going to enable you to call every Democratic voter for whom we can find a phone number! We'll be telling people about early voting, about where to vote early and on Election Day! Every campaign and activist can be making their own GOTV calls, and NOBODY gets called twice until we've called everyone!
• NOVEMBER 5th through November 7th, Election Day: The biggest coordinated phone bank in history turning out Democratic voters in EVERY precinct in Texas. If you have a computer and a phone, you'll be able to call folks somewhere in Texas to get them to the polls on Tuesday, November 7th.

As you can see, this is the type of tool the Democratic Party has needed for quite some time now, and a huge doff of the hat to Glen for putting this together so that we can elect Democrats. We didn't have to make the huge investment in each candidate developing his or her own databases- with this, we'll all linked together, and if, for example, someone in Valinda Bolton's House district updates an address or phone number, we'll have that information too. It cuts down on duplication of effort and gives us a level playing field with the well-financed gop'ers!

Please, help us win, make calls today! Not all of my precincts are online yet, but they will be adding more as the days go by. If you've got VOIP, you can call anyone without long distance charges. If you've got a cell phone with free long distance, or free calling on the weekends, please use it. One reminder- DO NOT use your corporate phones!! We cannot accept any corporate donations, and use of a corporate paid phone qualifies as a donation!
